ABOUT US The Bengal mobile round bale feeder is manufactured and originated in Wisconsin. Tested with buffalo for several years without any flaws or complications. While being tested we noticed a large savings in hay and less rot because the animals had to pull it off the feeder instead of off the ground were they would lay in it. T & R Enterprises is a family run business committed to quality. We've been in business for 3 years. Please contact us if you have any questions. THE CREATION OF THE MOBILE ROUND BALE FEEDER
I started looking at round bales and various feeders that where on the market. I had tried a couple round bales before and the buffalo would roll them out and waste a lot of hay. I thought why not continue my rotational grazing, cut out the middle man (me spreading manure) and use some type of mobile feeder that would spread the manure naturally. The feeders I found did not fit my needs and expectations. Below is a criteria that I needed. 1. I did not want one bale at a time. 2. I wanted it mobile to move anywhere. 3. I did not want one that in 4-5 years would be in need of extensive repair or just junk in the field. 4. Minimal waste of hay. 5. A feeder that is durable and all parts are replaceable and shippable (bolt together replacement parts if needed). 6. Minimal chance of animals being injured. 7. Universal feeder for all animals. 8. Use existing running gear. 9. Minimal maintenance and trouble free.
I had some old running gear off a flat rack; this is what I designed off of. My thinking was that the feeder would be able to utilize any existing running gear. I contacted some friends of mine who are fabricators and welders also. After countless designs and testing we came up with the mobile feeder that met all of our above criteria. It’s been on the farm with buffalo since 1996 and still no failures.
THE PERFECT UNIVERSAL FEEDER IS NOW AVAILABLE!
